A new consulting business based in Newcastle providing professional HR services for small-to-medium sized businesses has been launched.
Having launched this month, the business aims to provide tailored services to businesses seeking independent HR advice and support.
Working with owners, directors and leadership teams, Heart HR’s goal is to ensure all workforces are well cared for, as well as performing effectively and efficiently.
This is achieved through their collaboration with management teams and staff alike to identify problems and create lasting solutions focused and customised to suit the needs of each business.
Heart HR provides a number of services, especially geared to small to medium sized businesses
Heart HR is headed up by Director and Owner, Matt Taylor.
Matt, a resident of Newcastle for over 16 years, has over two decades of proven experience with local and international businesses across senior management and human resource roles.
Additionally, Matt teams up with other trusted local business consultants to provide the right solutions to meet Heart HR’s client needs.
“No matter what size, if a business employs people it has a need to ensure that proper and professional HR systems and processes are in place. This not only ensures compliance but also mitigates risk for the business,” Matt said
“With business owners focused on following up on the next sales lead or chasing up an overdue invoice, HR tends to get forgotten or at best only thought of when they are in danger of losing a valuable staff member or an issue occurs.
“Outsourcing the HR function to a trusted advisor such as Heart HR is often the most cost-effective solution for business owners”.
Matt has held senior positions in HR and general management at establishments such as Kleinfelder, GP Training, Keep Australia Beautiful, Encams, and US Forest Service.
Matt brings a strong network of Hunter connections through membership of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Business Hunter, and Newcastle Business Club.
As a recent graduate from the University of Oxford Executive Leadership Program, Matt also brings a contemporary view of HR at both the strategic and operational level.
When Matt is not wearing his Heart HR business suit, you will find him in Lycra climbing the hills of Newcastle and surrounds as an avid cyclist.
In the time in between he will be relaxing with his family or snapping beautiful scenic photographs from around the world.
Part of what makes Heart HR unique in its field is the love for building better communities, this is done not only through the support of businesses professionally by providing quality HR consultancy
but also, through working with many charitable forums.
This includes Matt’s involvement as a Director for Path 2 Change and other volunteer work in NSW such as participation in the annual Ride for Sick Kids, raising money for Ronald McDonald House charities.
