Locally owned and operated, Healing Wave Chiropractic has expanded its service areas with the addition of a new practice in East Maitland.

Already the largest chiropractic provider in the Hunter region with established practices in The Junction, Warners Bay, Mayfield and New Lambton, the new practice on High Street in East Maitland becomes the fifth operated by Healing Wave Chiropractic.

The East Maitland practice currently employs a small team of qualified and experienced chiropractors and assistants, with additional chiropractors joining the team in coming weeks to expand services.

Director of Healing Wave Chiropractic, Daniel Smith, said that the expansion was part of a longer term strategy for the group.

“The Healing Wave team has been providing chiropractic services to the people of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie for almost three decades. It has always been a long-term goal to expand into the Hunter,” Daniel said.

“Over the past five years, the population up through the Hunter Valley, particularly in and around the Maitland area, has grown tremendously and we are noticing more people travelling to visit us from these areas.

“We have been actively looking for a practice in the Maitland area to become part of our group and we are really pleased to welcome East Maitland Family Chiropractic as our fifth Healing Wave Chiropractic practice.”

Healing Wave currently comprises 14 male and female chiropractors and around 20 support staff across its multiple locations.

The group was established almost 30 years ago and currently services a client base of about 6,500 local people of all ages.
