Having only started in 2015, Harbinger Rail has already expanded significantly within the Hunter, and has now introduced a new Labour Hire Division to keep up with a growing industry influx and the need for employment.
Growing increasingly frustrated working for large multinational construction companies, Sam Harbinger saw the demand for a small specialist rail business focusing on delivering quality service but with a greater emphasis on client relationships.
The extension of the Labour Hire Division was naturally the next step Sam wanted to take, with the ability to provide new opportunities to the Hunter through job renewal and Industry progression.
“We have had a lot of interest, especially from people locally who have changed careers during this period of growth and are looking to gain the qualifications and skills needed to enter the rail industry,” Sam said.
Being in the industry for over 15 years has inspired the Lead Engineer’s strong passion for all things rail and provided him with the necessary experience to facilitate the rapid growth of Harbinger.
“Working in rail is hard demanding work, with long unsocial hours and a high level of skills required, but it is also extremely rewarding, with some of our crews even having the opportunity to work internationally in the Asia pacific region,” Sam said.
Harbinger’s ability to continually deliver high quality solutions to the rail industry is underpinned by their highly experienced and dedicated staff. Harbinger crews understand the time critical nature of the work and ensure jobs are completed on time.
“A lot of our success comes from our core values. Even as we continue to grow we will always have the feel of a small business with our clients and continue our close relationships with them,” Sam said.
“We’re excited to see where this leads Harbinger, not only within the local community but within Australia’s rail industry.”
