Newcastle recruitment agency, GWG, has recently expanded, appointing two experienced Senior Recruitment Consultants, Meghan Marmont and Clare Weir to the team.

James Grierson, the Chief Operating Officer at GWG Recruitment said that the expansion follows their strategic mission to focus on the needs of the Newcastle and Hunter region.

“Meghan and Clare will be integral in ensuring our clients have the support they need from our team during this high growth period,” he said.

Meghan specialises in the Construction, Manufacturing and Supply Chain sectors, partnering with industry professionals on both contract and permanent positions.

As a highly experienced recruiter, Meghan prides herself on her service delivery and ability to work closely with her clients to offer long-term solutions.

Meghan expressed that she was excited to begin work with GWG and to be able to provide a high-quality experience for future customers.

Clare, the second addition to the GWG team, specialises in the technology sector, having worked closely with many of the region’s organisations and their technology projects. Her in-depth knowledge of the technology field, verticals and niche roles bring even more capability to an already strong team in this sector.

Clare said that she looks forward to bringing her industry knowledge to the team to provide further opportunities for GWG’s customers.

These latest appointments represent continued investment in the local region as GWG continues to grow.

GWG CEO, Julie Gearie, said that the level at which their Hunter business operate is something other markets struggle to reach.

“Our customers have told us that Sydney agencies can’t provide the level of local market reach required and it makes sense for us to service that gap,” Julie said.
