Greater Bank’s commitment and dedication to serving the needs of its customers has been recognised at the 2020 DBM Australian Financial Awards held in Sydney earlier this month.
The Hunter-based financial institution received the award for Best Customer Service after being rated best in class by consumers.
The annual event recognises the best of the Australian financial sector by collecting feedback from more than 80,000 consumers and business owners, based on their experiences with their financial institutions.
It is the second consecutive year Greater Bank has been recognised at these awards after taking out Most Recommended Customer-owned Bank at last year’s event.
According to Greater Bank Chief Executive Officer, Scott Morgan, the award reflects Greater Bank’s continued commitment to delivering the highest quality customer service.
“Winning this award is a wonderful recognition of our ongoing dedication to customers and the communities within which we operate. It’s a one of our guiding principles that underpin our operations every day,” Scott said.
“Our customers are our greatest advocates and we are dedicated to meeting their ever-evolving needs and expectations. This is why we continue to invest in our business to ensure we are providing the best customer service as well as competitively priced, quality products.”
The award continues on from a successful 2019, where Greater Bank was recognised as Money Magazine’s 2019 Home Lender of the Year award and won nine categories including the prestigious Home Lender Bank of the Year Award at the 2019 Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Home Loans.
Greater Bank has a customer base of more than 270,000 and over 800 employees who work across 59 branches in NSW and South-East Queensland.
