Endeavour Group Australia has added depth and experience to its board with the appointment of David Bacon.
David has 20 years board experience with appointments in the UK and Australia, along with extensive experience working in the private and public sectors including media, regional economic development, social housing and consumer goods sectors. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Graduate of the AICD Company Director’s Course.
David is the current Chairman of Pacific Link, a social housing provider based in Gosford, where he was a driving force behind a radical improvement of the organisation’s financial performance and sustainability.
Endeavour Chairman, Andrew Hughes, said that David’s wealth of corporate knowledge and experience would support Endeavour’s strategy to improve overall operational management and service delivery.
“David’s direction in transforming Pacific Link Housing to become one of the largest and leading community housing providers in NSW will bring considerable value to the Endeavour board,” Andrew said.
“The Endeavour board has actively sought specialised expertise to help position the organisation as a leader in the provision of disability services across our broad range of delivery points as part of the roll-out of the NDIS.”
“The recent appointment of our CEO Don MacAskill and now David’s appointment provides additional skill-sets that add great value to our business and the people we exist to support. We are extremely pleased that he has agreed to join us for the exciting journey ahead.”
