Newcastle based business loan lender, Funda, has been announced as a finalist in the NSW/ACT Fin-tech Lender of the Year category at the annual Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) State Excellence Awards.
The Awards highlight brokers, broker businesses and staff who have demonstrated exceptional customer service, professionalism, ethics, growth and innovation.
This is Funda’s first year as a finalist in the Excellence Awards.
The MFAA Excellence Awards are the most rigorous in the Australian mortgage and finance industry and are judged by an independent panel of industry specialists, business professionals and experts.
Funda CEO, Nathan Wright, said that he was thrilled to see Funda recognised among some of the best in the industry.
“We are honoured to have been recognised by our industry peers and to have been selected from all the entrants across the state and named as a finalist for this Award,” Nathan said.
The last year has been full of change and increasing challenges for the finance broking industry, but Funda have been seeing more positive outcomes than ever due to their commitment to customers and expertise in the lending market.
“Funda is faster than the bank. And more financially fair than other non-bank lenders. Our aim is simple: we provide SME’s with a great finance solution. We strive to be Australia’s most personal non-bank lender and as such, customer satisfaction is centric to our operation,” Nathan said.
Speaking in regards of Funda’s award submission, MFAA stated that Funda demonstrate strong business ethics and exceptional industry growth, making them a worthy finalist in the MFAA Awards.
“The MFAA has acknowledged Funda as a state finalist out of more than 520 total award submissions received nationally. Funda has been rewarded for demonstrating their professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct, growth and innovation,” MFFA said.
“To be recognised as a finalist speaks volumes of their exceptional practice and professionalism in the mortgage and finance industry.”
Over the last 18 years the awards have played a key role in lifting the standards of service and professionalism in Australia’s mortgage and finance industry.
All finalists, including Funda, have an opportunity to be recognised as their state’s winner.
State winners will then have the opportunity to win the prestigious national title at the National Awards.
The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) is the peak national body representing finance brokers, mortgage managers, lenders, aggregator/broking groups and other industry participants, to assist them to develop, foster, and promote the mortgage and finance industry in Australia.
