genXwomen has teamed-up with Westfield Kotara and the Newcastle Art Gallery during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise money for the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF).
Hunter-based networking group genXwomen will host ‘The Art of Fashion’, an event that will bring together more than 60 businesswomen from across the region to connect and grow professional relationships whilst supporting local breast cancer charity.
genXwomen is a dynamic avenue for Hunter women of all ages to establish alliances and build relationships in our local business community with like-minded professionals.
President of genXwomen and associate with Taggart Partners, Melanie Hamilton, said that event partnerships with the Newcastle Art Gallery and Westfield Kotara demonstrate the positive power of business collaboration in the region.
“Our annual HBCF fundraiser is a great example of how businesses can collaborate to produce positive outcomes for our community,” Melanie said.
“Our monthly events provide a fantastic platform for professionals and local businesses to develop new and grow existing relationships whilst supporting local charities such as HBCF.”
All funds raised on the night will be donated to the HBCF, a local organisation that provides grass-roots support to local people who are currently going through treatment of breast cancer.
Successful businesswoman and Westfield Stylist, FiFi Milne will be providing guests with inspiration and fashion advice on the season’s latest trends. Guests will be treated to an exclusive viewing of the Gallery’s latest exhibitions and will have additional opportunities to support the Foundation on the night.
