As the Newcastle region emerges as a hub for innovation and creativity, we’re seeing more and more national quality events hit the city, the latest of which has been set to take place on November 2 this year.
The Brand Summit is a thought leadership conference which will take place annually in Newcastle, inviting marketers and business leaders to hear from industry experts on all things brand.
This year, four high calibre speakers take the stage to speak specifically to brand purpose and its ability to move the needle.
The Brand Summit keynote speaker is Richard Saurman, who is ranked number three in the 2017 global top 30 marketing professionals. Also speaking is the brains behind Great Northern Brewing Co’s marketing, Michael McKeown, Newcastle Smart City’s Nathaniel Bavinton and Enigma Sydney’s Managing Director, Jennifer Peace.
According to Enigma Founder, Lisa Sutton Gardner, The Brand Summit is a logical offering for our thriving marketing community.
“We take people development very seriously and when one of my leaders came back from South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin earlier this year, we agreed that we need to find a way to share the latest trends and ideas with our staff, our partners and our clients locally,” Lisa said.
“When we saw that there was nothing around like this we did what we do and created it. We have an outstanding line up this year and I hope that The Brand Summit becomes an annual must do for local marketers, business leaders and students.”
The Brand Summit will be held at The Central Bar on King Street in Newcastle on Thursday November 2. The event also includes a panel discussion which will invite speakers to answer questions and further share their experiences on building brands with purpose.
