Local technology solution provider, Diamond IT, has been helping organisations succeed in business for nearly 25 years by supporting them to leverage the transformational opportunities which technology unlocks.
The rise of COVID-19 forced many businesses to re-evaluate their relationship with technology to ensure they remain effective.
For Diamond IT that meant having the support in place for customers when they needed it, in both the Hunter and Sydney regions, has never been more important.
As part of Diamond IT’s response, they have welcomed Luke Russell as the General Manager for the Sydney Region and four new support and pre-sales technicians to the Newcastle team over the past 6 months.
Luke brings with him significant strategic, operational, and commercial experience to support Diamond IT’s Sydney customer base.
His goal is to ensure that technology is aligned and integrated with Diamond IT’s client’s overall business strategy during these unprecedented times and into the future.
Before joining Diamond IT, Luke was the Head of Business Technology at the Samaritans Foundation where he was responsible for the development and delivery of the organisation’s digital strategy, aligning technology functions to the organisation’s long term strategic and corporate objectives.
Founder and Managing Director of Diamond IT, Robert Buck said they are lucky to be able to welcome Luke to the team.

Diamond IT welcomed four new support and pre-sales technicians to the team in the past 6 months, at the new Warabrook Head Office.
“With the majority of our customers transitioning to working remotely or a hybrid model of both in the office and at home, we wanted to ensure our technical support team was accessible and available to support their needs during the challenging COVID-19 times,” Robert said.
Diamond IT is committed to ensuring customers maintain their long-term technical perspective while adjusting to the changes to business operations due to COVID-19.
