Morrissey Law + Advisory has announced the appointment of a new Director, Belinda Crosbie, who will become one of the leaders of the firm’s Newcastle office.

Joining Directors Michael Morrissey and Hamish Geddes, Belinda will bring 12 years of experience as a construction and dispute resolution Lawyer and an advisor on major projects across Newcastle, the Hunter, Sydney and interstate.

Belinda said she is thrilled to join a firm that is quickly progressing in the region.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Michael and Hamish in a young and busy firm, which has achieved an enormous amount in its first 18 months,” Belinda said.

“I’m impressed and energised by the complexity of the work they’re doing, their care for each other and their clients.”

The firm’s Founder, Michael Morrissey said growth has always been focused on getting great lawyers who understand the construction industry.

Morrissey Law + Advisory was founded in late 2017 by Michael Morrissey and Hamish Geddes with a focus on delivering wholistic legal and advisory services to the construction and industry sectors.

It works closely with major contractors, builders, financiers, owners and authorities to manage risk across a range of projects – from major new energy projects through to large commercial and residential builds across Newcastle.

Morrissey Law + Advisory’s head office is based in Newcastle. It also has offices in Sydney and Central West NSW.
