HunterNet has been advocating for industry for 25 years, and just like industries throughout our region, change is at foot.
Diversification is the buzz word at certain levels (at present) and HunterNet members have embraced the realities of the changing industrial landscape of our region – looking, probing and discovering markets that can benefit from the services they provide. Exploring ways to better their business and ensure prosperity for themselves and their employees. HunterNet is helping businesses in the region to reach their goals and look beyond some of the traditional ways.
Resources (coal in particular), for so long the panacea for growth and prosperity, is no longer the single ingredient. Long gone are the days when you only had to breathe to get a job. We are seeing companies diversify from straight forward fabrication to design manufacture, problem solving and solution based cost-saving centres. Our members have realised that it’s what they do, not the industry that they work in, that defines their value and makes them a business for all sectors.
Our members are putting the client’s problems to the fore, focusing on the solution to drive long term efficiency gains and developing long-term trusting partnerships. Efficiencies are being gained through smarter knowledge based solutions. The use of technology is not only enhancing our lives, it’s making our industries more competitive and opening up markets that were once out of reach.
Our region remains the engine of this state and it’s the people of this region who drive and maintain that engine.
It’s an old cliché, but the world is opening up. HunterNet wants to ensure our region is known as the gateway for all things progressive, innovative, adventurous, inclusive and wonderful to anyone who wants to listen.
As part of diversifying into different arenas, HunterNet is pleased to join with Hunter Headline to ensure the message is out there. Hunter Industry News is now partnered with Hunter Headline, which embodies the digital literature age that is now upon us. Hunter Headline is enabling industry and our members to have a platform for news, promotion and marketing that is always at hand.
We look forward to developing our relationship with Hunter Headline and working together to promote our members and the region, as a whole, to all who will listen.
