Out of the Square (OOTS) took home the highly coveted Award for Best Digital Agency at last week’s 5th annual Newi Awards.
The Newi Awards for Digital Creativity is the digital industry’s night of nights and saw the who’s who in digital creativity come together to highlight and celebrate the use of digital technology to achieve success.
The Awards are significant as they showcase the incredible talent in regional Australia and especially Newcastle.
They are open to individuals, companies, non-profit organisations and governments in regional Australia who are pushing the boundaries in digital creativity and developing digital solutions.
The Best Digital Agency Award recognises the best marketing, digital or advertising agency, with a focus on design, innovation and providing genuine results to clients. It is the only agency award offered on the night and is strongly contested.
Out of the Square Managing Director, Marty Adnum said he was proud of the entire team at OOTS who made the result at the awards possible.
“There is a tremendous amount of talent in this great town, so to win this award is truly an honour,” Marty said.
“We’re just about to celebrate Out of the Square’s 20th birthday. So to kick it off with such a significant award is a terrific start to the party.
“Without our great clients we collaborate with daily, this continued success would not be possible.”
Out of the Square’s recent work includes the Go Smarter marketing campaign for Newcastle Airport which encompasses TV, out-of-home, radio, digital, social and CRM activity. The campaign is now active throughout Newcastle. The Newi Awards were held on 28 September at Foghorn Brewhouse.
