Two respected and experienced property lawyers have joined McDonald Johnson Lawyers as partners.
Lee-Anne Dimmock and Andrew Ferguson add further strength to the established firm’s skills and expertise in property law.
With significant knowledge in property and development, commercial and business succession and estate planning, Lee-Anne’s experience includes acting for local businesses, financiers, government authorities, developers and listed international corporations.
“I am pleased to join the McDonald Johnson team and am impressed by the depth of experience that we are able to provide to our clients,” Lee-Anne said. “I started as a fresh law graduate at McDonald Johnson back in 2001 and my return as a partner to the firm fills me with pride.”
Andrew specialises in property law matters and transactions, acting for corporate, private, institutional and government clients. He has particular experience acting for property developers, property fund managers and local government authorities.
“It’s extremely important for me to be able to work alongside talented and supportive colleagues and I’m confident McDonald Johnson will provide this,” Andrew said. “I think clients will really enjoy working with us; they will really see the benefits of our team approach.”
Longstanding partners Brian Blakemore, Craig Doyle and Andrew Craig said the addition of two highly skilled property lawyers was part of the firm’s concentration and growth phase as it prepares to celebrate 100 years of continuous and reputable legal practice in July.
Established in 1916, McDonald Johnson Lawyers provides legal service and has developed a niche in the areas of property law, commercial business, corporate and commercial dispute management and resolution, insurance, wills and estates.
Looking ahead, McDonald Johnson Lawyers says it will continue to ensure the firm has the right people with the right mix of expertise to deliver exceptional services to clients.
“During this exciting time in the city’s redevelopment we now have one of the largest and most experienced property law teams in the Hunter,” the partners said.
“We have the depth and necessary capabilities to assist clients across a broad range of property and commercial matters.”
