The Greater Building Society has received national recognition for outstanding customer service, taking out Building Society of the Year for the second year in a row, at the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards held in Melbourne on Wednesday night.
The Roy Morgan national award winners are those businesses that rated the most highly across the 12 months of 2014, as tracked by Roy Morgan’s monthly Consumer Single Source and Business Single Source surveys of a total of 50,000 consumers and 12,000 business decision-makers.
Greater CEO Scott Morgan said data from Roy Morgan also shows that The Greater is again “Australia’s Most Loved Banking Organisation” having achieved the highest levels of satisfaction in more months of 2014 than any other banking organisation. He said The Greater reached almost 95 per cent satisfaction in the six months to October 2014, a significantly higher score than any of the major banks.
“We’re striving to give customers great banking products and rates as well as superior customer service to the big banks,” Scott said.
This award was followed up the Thursday night by more accolades when The Greater was awarded Best Secured Personal Loan Lender at the 2015 Australian Lending Awards in Sydney.
Scott said The Greater’s secured personal loan is a straightforward loan with a low rate, no monthly or annual fees and flexible repayment options.
“We’re continuing to improve all of our banking products to give people a better alternative to the big banks,” Scott continued.

The Australian Lending Awards are presented by the RFi Group to recognise Australia’s top mortgage and personal loan lenders. The winners were selected through a rigorous judging process including a survey of 6,000 consumers and 500 brokers nationally.
