Maitland Business Chamber invites members and guests to attend September’s Networking Breakfast with Guest Speaker, CEO Chakyl Camal of Panthera Property Group.

Mr Camal will present information about the proposed development in Maitland’s CBD.

“A new development of a high quality contemporary design that respects the heritage character of its surrounds is proposed in the Maitland Town Centre. The development, known as the Maitland Serviced Apartments seeks to set a benchmark for the future character and quality of development in Maitland. 

The development is located at 31-33 Bourke Street, Maitland, on the corner of Bourke Street and Ken Tubman Drive. Ken Tubman Drive forms the Southwestern boundary of the Town Centre. The proposal creates a landmark building on the site, as an anchor to the southern end of Bourke Street, balancing the streetscape and skyline profile of the city with the northern end State Heritage listed landmark Post-Office building. 

Panthera Property Group as the developer of the project seeks to bring a ground level plus six storey development to the Maitland Town Centre, consisting of 86 serviced apartments and ground floor retail uses. The proposed serviced apartments will further contribute to the economic development of Maitland by offering short stay accommodation targeted at visitors, tourists and business people.”
