Wheels are turning for Aspect Hunter School

NSW’s largest homebuilder, McDonald Jones, has provided much needed funds through their Charitable Foundation to Aspect Hunter School.

Aspect Hunter School provides a specialised program for children with autism and students from Aspect will be cruising around town in a brand new mini bus thanks to the $50,000 donation.

Principal, Liz Murray, said the new vehicle would allow more students the opportunity to participate in activities that would otherwise not be available to them, as well as enable students to develop the skills to participate in the community.

Founder and Director of McDonald Jones Homes, Bill McDonald, said that McDonald Jones Charitable Foundation was established to assist and support communities and families in areas within our building

“This new van enables students with autism to fully participate in school life, transporting them to community-based integration activities,” Bill said.

“We are proud to be supporting Aspect Hunter School and allowing students to participate in activities which they love.”

Aspect CEO Adrian Ford said it was fabulous to have local support and it will make a big difference to students and their families.

Last year the McDonald Jones Charitable Foundation raised and donated over $100,000 and helped numerous local organisations.
