Powering up spend for Lake Mac businesses over the Big Weekend

Dantia is providing local businesses with unique opportunities to boost their sales from the influx of interstate and broader region visitors who will sleep, eat and recreate in Lake Macquarie over the Big Weekend this October 14-15.

According to Peter Francis, CEO of Dantia, “our work to secure the Offshore Superboat Championships and support the PWC Race Series as key features of the Lake Mac Big Weekend represents a major coup for the Lake Mac business community”.

To leverage the strong nationwide interest in the events and allow local businesses an affordable and unique opportunity to be part of the Big Weekend action, Dantia is offering businesses around Lake Macquarie the chance to be part of two powerful promotional initiatives.

Working in conjunction with Local Business Chambers, Dantia is providing a free opportunity for businesses to drive sales traffic by promoting a special offer to Superboat visitors via an event app, which will be promoted across all media platforms.

Dantia will also launch an exclusive 200 Club, with the opportunity for Lake Macquarie businesses to join a co-operative marketing campaign for a major national event.

As the name suggests, there are only 200 membership packages available. While all members receive benefits for their contributions, 14 businesses will win premium upgrades at a VIP corporate event.

“More than 30,000 people flocked to the 2016 Big Weekend, and this year’s event will see the inclusion of markets, food stalls, entertainment, come and try water sports and aerobatic displays to create an incredible destination event that will continue to drive the Lake Mac business economy for years to come,” said Peter.
