Osborn Law Senior Solicitor, Tasha Wolodko-Kouril, has achieved Specialist Accreditation in Commercial Litigation with the Law Society of NSW.
Specialist Accreditation, initiated by the Law Society in 1992, recognises a legal practitioner’s expertise in their field and is held by less than five per cent of the profession in NSW.
It is the highest official recognition that a solicitor can attain from the Law Society and offers clients a reliable way to identify lawyers who excel in specific areas of law.
Solicitors who achieve accreditation are carefully reviewed during a three-month program involving a rigorous peer-to-peer assessment process, evaluating legal knowledge and its practical application.
To be eligible to apply a solicitor must have practised law full-time for at least 5 years and worked in their chosen area of specialty for at least 3 years.
Managing Director, Tim Osborn said Tasha’s successful completion of this highly competitive and challenging program is a testament to her commitment to excellence in her profession as well as her continual focus on delivering greater value to our clients.
“Specialist Accreditation in commercial litigation endorses the high-quality legal representation Tasha provides clients along with a level of assurance and dependability that can be invaluable when dealing with complex legal matters,” Tim said.
“Tasha was already an incredible asset to the Osborn Law family – with this news providing the ‘icing on the cake’.”
Tasha said her decision to embark on the rigorous Specialist Accreditation course was driven by a desire to not only validate her expertise, but to challenge herself to meet the high standards set by the accomplished practitioners she has had the privilege of working alongside throughout her career.
“Attaining the status of an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation stands as a profound source of personal pride and fulfillment in my legal career,” Tasha said.
“It marks the culmination of my dedication to this area of law over the past 7 years and the recognition of my commitment to excellence in commercial litigation generally.
“I look forward to continuing to provide clients at Osborn Law with specialist level assistance throughout their commercial litigation matters,” Tasha said.
