OOTS on the move

OOTS on the move

Earlier this month Out of the Square Media (OOTS) moved from their home of 18 years in Watt Street to newly renovated larger premises in Hunter Street.

Managing Director, Marty Adnum, said the reason for the move was due to both the business expansion and demand for their services and to offer the growing OOTS team of 22, fresh new collaborative open plan premises, with tonnes of natural light and views of the harbour and our inspiring city.

“We love Newcastle and this is a show of commitment in the faith we have in the region and desire to continue to grow and evolve with it,” Marty said.

The new premises also offers the latest technology with expanded facilities of three creative meeting rooms, two digital edit suites, sound booth and design studio area.

“There is a whole new energy to deliver even better outcomes. We we’re already in a great place but it was time to take it to the next level, the team and the clients absolutely love and deserve it.”

The creative OOTS team recorded the move for posterity and made a short video‚ in just two days of posting on Facebook it received over 12,000 views.

It’s been a big month for the team as they also received three Highly Commended Awards in the Australasian Catalogue of the Year Awards.

They were won for brochure and catalogue work for Camera House Australia and Newcastle founded Electrodry. Camera House Australia has been a client of OOTS for over 16 years and Electrodry for over nine years.

“Hundreds of entries were submitted Australia wide by many “big name” agencies so it was a real honour for the efforts and high standards of the team to be recognised,” Marty concluded.
