Newcastle Permanent has been named as Australia’s Best Customer-Owned Banking organisation in the 2018 Mozo Experts Choice Australia’s Best Awards.
This industry award recognises Newcastle Permanent’s products across the full spectrum of consumer banking.
This award continues Newcastle Permanent’s winning run, which has included Home Lender of the Year by Mozo, Canstar’s Home Lender Outstanding Value, and Money Magazine’s Home Lender of the Year 2017.
Newcastle Permanent Acting CEO, Mark Williams said this award was more evidence that Newcastle Permanent offered outstanding products and service to its customers.
“We strive to offer our customers great value products and services and the experts at Mozo have selected us as the best customer-owned banking organisation in the country,” Mark said.

The Mozo Experts Choice Awards are an initiative that recognises Australia’s best products and helps Australians to save money and choose high-value products. For these awards, Mozo assessed 117 providers of which 85 had won at least one Mozo Experts Choice Award in financial year 2017/18.
“The Australia’s Best Awards are the premier awards in Mozo’s calendar. These are the awards that recognise the providers delivering top value to customers across the spectrum of banking products during the last year – not just one category,” Kristy Lamont, Mozo Director said.
“Our judges based their decision on hard-nosed calculations of value to the consumer across the main retail banking categories of home loans, credit cards, personal loans, saving accounts, term deposits, and transaction accounts.
