KLM Financial Planners has been named Australian Unity Best Financial Planning in an Accountancy Practice for 2017.

The financial arm of KLM Accountants based in Charlestown, KLM Financial Planners received the prestigious award from the CEO of Australian Unity Personal Financial Services, Steve Davis, at the award’s gala dinner.

Steve said the award recognises excellence in managing a financial planning practice.

“KLM has received the award because of the amazing service and financial advice the practice provides their clients, and for the efficient, client-focused way the practice operates,” Steve said.

“KLM provides top level financial advice to clients who need guidance on investments, superannuation, retirement and redundancy, and wealth creation and protection.

“Their clients have greatly benefited from their advice and there’s no doubt that Janette and their staff always have their clients’ interests and financial well-being as their highest priority.”

Director of KLM Financial Planners, Janette Pavey said she was honoured to receive the award on behalf of the firm, and paid tribute to their staff.

“We have a client first approach and the best part of our job is helping people,” Janette said.

“Our clients come to see us because they need advice on how to structure their affairs so they can be financially comfortable for the rest of their lives. And when we can help them do that, it’s great for them; and it’s very satisfying for us.”

Doug Duncan, Director of KLM Accountants said that he was very proud to see the financial planning team being recognised in this way.
