New CEO for insurance and training company

National insurance and training company, Rapid Solutions has announced the appointment of Belinda Smith as CEO.

Belinda brings an extensive 20 year career in the construction, education and not-for-profit sectors to the business and a reputation for her ability to deliver results through relationships, building sustainable partnerships and strong company culture.

With expertise in customer experience, including product and service development, as CEO, Belinda will build on the unique business support model that Rapid Solutions provides to its customers to expand into new markets domestically and internationally.

Belinda said she is honoured to be a part of the Rapid Solutions team and play a role in the future of the business.

“For more than 25 years, Rapid Solutions has worked from the Hunter to provide quality insurance and training solutions to customers across Australia and New Zealand,” Belinda said.

“I am very honoured and pleased to be leading this experienced and professional team to position the business for growth through innovation and customer focussed insurance and training solutions.”

Belinda has previously played a part in the business development and relationship management for Hunter TAFE and held a critical role in the community through both her charity work and participation on local boards, including for Hunter Medical Research Institute.

Belinda is also a spokesperson for women escaping domestic violence through her work as a Director for Got Your Back Sister.

Belinda has joined Rapid Solutions during a time when the company is preparing for its tenth industry conference in August, attracting more than 400 people from the pest management sector in Australia and across the globe.

Rapid Solutions is based in Newcastle, NSW and is a leader in providing tailored insurance solutions for the pest management, building inspection, agricultural pest and weed control sectors. It also provides technical advice and industry recognised training solutions for this sector. The company employs nearly 40 people who support a client base of more than 2,000 customers across Australia and New Zealand.
