After more than eight years working with some of the worlds leading design studios, and clients such as Ferrari, Major League Baseball, Coventry University, the Michael Jackson Estate and The Saatchi Gallery; branding, print and web designer Martin Sully, has moved to the Hunter Region.
On moving to New Lambton and launching his new website, he is quickly building links with local businesses, offering his expertise in brand identity design to startup business and SMEs.
Martin is working to create a network of local collaborators, including illustrators, photographers, copywriters, web designers, social media experts and more, with the aim being to offer clients innovative services, that are fully customisable to the clients needs.
“I’m really excited about this adventure, I love the tight knit community here, there’s so much talent, and it seems to be rapidly expanding,” Martin said.
“I’d describe my style of work as modern, contemporary and classic, but I think the key thing is flexible. I love to be hands-on from the beginning, listening to clients ideas, thoughts, and businesses. After this, I hit the sketchbook, and computer and put down some initial ideas.”
In the last month, Martin has spent time working closely with Love from Mim, a family and lifestyle blog by Mim Jenkinson. Mim began as a parenting blogger, but had moved to a lifestyle, health, home, family and travel blog. A re-brand was necessary to direct the blog and all the social media channels in a new direction.
“I engaged Martin to assist in the rebrand of my Lifestyle blog. Having made the decision to change the name of the blog, I wanted a logo that represented me and what the blog was about,” Mim said.
“Martin took my brief of what I wanted the logo to represent and we discussed colours, design and images and what he came back with could not have been more perfect. Martin worked quickly in providing me with a variety of options that all matched my brief very well.”
