Most innovative becomes Top Shots event

In its fourth year, the BRW Most Innovative Companies Breakfast has disrupted itself. And not only with a name change.

“The BRW lists have moved out of home,” CEO of Ideation at Work and producer of the event, Christina Gerakiteys, said.

“They now sit within the Australian Financial Review. With PKF our major sponsor for 2016, we thought we would shake up the whole event”.

“PKF were themselves finalists in the Financial Review Client Choice Awards in 2015. It is PKF’s innovative approach to everything from their systems to their client relationships that make PKF the perfect host for this event.”

Rebadged as the Top Shots Breakfast, the event hosts speakers from the BRW Most Innovative Companies, BRW Fast 100 and BRW Best Places to Work 2015 Lists. Organisational support for innovation, a healthy organisational culture, and fast iterations, are crucial attributes on the many paths to success for small and medium businesses and large organisations.

It’s a familiar theme that now more than ever businesses need to be innovating. Often all that is needed is a little inspiration to spark incremental, sustainable, disruptive and even destructive innovation.

“It’s that spark, or the encouragement to action ideas, that we hope people will gain from the speakers at the Top Shots Breakfast.” Christina said.

This year, executives from Planet Innovation (1st Most Innovative Companies), and UM (First Best Places to Work under 100 employees) will share their success stories. These diverse companies embed innovation into their vibrant and progressive company cultures, resulting in improving the lives of their clients and their employees while simultaneously improving their bottom line.
