Roberts Legal has announced that Senior Lawyers, Tony Peterson and Jack Lindgren have been recognised by the Law Society of NSW as specialists in their field, having achieved Specialist Accreditation in Commercial Litigation.
Tony and Jack join Director, Sam Roberts in sharing this achievement as he has held Specialist Accreditation in Commercial Litigation since 2013.
There are now five Accredited Specialists in Commercial Litigation in the greater Newcastle, Central Coast, and Hunter Valley regions with three employed at Roberts Legal’s Newcastle office.
“Our Commercial Litigation team is now one of the most recognised teams in New South Wales and has more Accredited Specialists than 99 per cent of all law firms in NSW,” Sam said.
Jack and Tony are two of only three Lawyers to obtain Specialist Accreditation in Commercial Litigation in the state for 2021.
“There are in fact only four other firms in NSW that have three or more Accredited Specialists in Commercial Litigation,” he added.
Obtaining any Specialist Accreditation is no small achievement.
In the area of Commercial Litigation, it is only offered every two years and to gain Specialist Accreditation a Solicitor must pass rigorous assessments in communication, problem solving, client relations, Court procedure and, of course, Commercial Law, including a peer-to-peer evaluation.
“Completing the Specialist Accreditation provides recognition of my depth of expertise in Commercial Litigation,” Jack said.
“Having three Solicitors that hold Specialist Accreditation in Commercial Litigation is a reflection of the high standards that our litigation team sets for itself and will give our referrers and prospects an even greater reason to be confident that we are the right firm to assist with even the more complex kinds of commercial disputes where the amounts at stake are higher,” Sam said.
“I honestly enjoy the intellectual challenge and demand of finding solutions to complex legal problems for our clients. It’s what we all love to do,” Tony said.
