Recruit Personnel has welcomed Luke Williams as their newest Recruitment Consultant who will specialise in labour hire.

Raised in the Hunter Valley, Luke has over six years working in the recruitment industry across private recruitment firms and has extensive experience building client relationships, filing roles and candidate management.

Having completed a Boilermaking Apprenticehip with Forgacs Dockyard in 2007 and worked across the engineering sector, Luke has excellent industry knowledge to compliment his recruitment portfolio to assist in dealing with both clients and candidates with a focus on work, health and safety in the workplace.

General Manager of Recruit Personnel, Paul Callinan believes Luke will add value to their team of specialists.

“As a result of optimistic jobs growth across the Hunter, it is timely to engage Luke and welcome his extensive experience working across the trades and fabrication sectors to build on our growing labour hire division,” Paul said.

“Recruit Personnel are continuously building on our ability to specialise across all sectors, and that includes professional, temporary, labour hire, apprenticeships and traineeships.”

Based in Maitland, Luke will service the Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Upper Hunter areas with a focus on a diverse portfolio of industries,including engineering, construction, mining, employ between manufacturing and transport.

“I will be working mostly across blue collar recruitment with businesses employ between1 to 50 personnel from heavy industry to shutdown maintenance,” Luke said.

Luke says he is ready for a new challenge with Recruit Personnel.

“For the past six years I have been working with large national recruitment companies and when the opportunity arose to work with a recruitment business servicing local businesses, I jumped at the chance to be able to work closely with clients and candidates using a hands-on approach.”
