Shaw Gidley, Insolvency & Reconstruction Specialists has announced it has promoted Joshua Robb to Senior Manager.
Shaw Gidley Principal Paul Gidley said that the promotion is acknowledgement of the important role Joshua holds in their management team; a position they foresee expanding as the company grows.
“Joshua has the knowledge and experience to take his career to next level, providing solutions on complex problems and developing his own business,” Paul said.
Joshua has practiced Insolvency law and administration since 2006 having experienced all aspects of both personal and corporate insolvency administrations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with joint studies in management and financial accounting and a Diploma of Advanced Insolvency Law. Joshua is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association and Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
“With this new role my focus has broadened to now determining, then efficiently managing the best outcome for our corporate and personal clients,” Joshua said. “
In particular, I enjoy examining the financial circumstances and other variables surrounding the clients affairs and working hard to uncover the best solutions for their problem. I’m fortunate to have progressed a significant part of my senior career with three of the most experienced in the field, with Paul, James and Scott.”

This is something very important to me and more important to my client base given the impending changes to the insolvency legislation, which are due to take effect over coming years.”
With his move to senior manager, Joshua will play a more prominent role providing frontline advice for corporate and individual clients experiencing endemic financial problems. Joshua has also been given the mandate of championing the firm’s personal insolvency division growth and development in the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
