Hunter people will now be able to get local industry and business news in one place with today’s announcement that Hunter Industry News will be included within Hunter Headline.
The publication will move from a print format to online, with a monthly industry-focused eNewsletter being sent out, as well as a new industry specific section on the Hunter Headline website.
Hunter Headline General Manager, Holly Martin, said the collaboration will strengthen the reach of both publications.
Holly said Hunter Headline is about profiling business and Hunter Industry News is about profiling industry within the region. She said the two areas are intertwined, which is why it makes sense to merge the two publications.
“We’re always looking for ways to deliver a wider variety of Hunter business news,” Holly said.
“Having Hunter Industry News as part of our network means we will be providing local businesspeople with a more complete, one stop platform for the region’s business news.
She said the larger combined approach will also be better for advertisers wishing to reach local businesses, businessowners, managers and employees.
In addition, Hunter Industry News’ close relationship with industry cluster HunterNet will continue.
HunterNet CEO, Tony Cade, said the new partnership provides additional benefit to HunterNet 200 plus members and their 70,000 employees.
“Our members are doing some great things in industry and we’re pleased to be able to form this new relationship with Hunter Headline that will help us to communicate their successes,” Tony said.
The first edition of the Hunter Industry News eNewsletter will be issued in March 2017. To subscribe please click here.
