Hunter houses put out the welcome mat for awards

Len Pro Building has been awarded one of the housing industry’s highest recognitions, as Hunter Home of the Year in the HIA-CSR Hunter Housing Awards.

Judged by industry professionals, the awards acknowledge the talent of designers, builders, suppliers and manufacturers who plan and construct quality new homes, townhouses, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor projects.

Located in Cessnock, the 2014 Hunter Home of the Year also took out the ‘Renovation/Addition Project of the Year’ award.

HIA Hunter Executive Director, Craig Jennion, said that against strong competition the spectacular renovation espouses attention to detail.

“The judges commented that the home had magical workmanship and demonstrated exceptional quality,” Craig said.  “They placed the project head and shoulders above all other finalists.”

Len Pro Building is a family-run business, with the core service of architecturally designed and custom-built homes

“I congratulate Len Pro Building and all Hunter Award winners and finalists,” Craig continued.

“HIA is delighted with the exceptional quality of entries and level of competition this year. All winners and finalists should be proud to have reached the pinnacle of building standards demonstrated in these entrants.”

“Each year an exceptional calibre of entries is presented, a reflection of the hard work and dedication our members continue to display. From sustainable initiatives to incredible workmanship, these homes are remarkable and we are proud to call these entrants HIA members.”

Other major winners on the night, included Martin Project Homes for ‘Display Home of the Year’, Booker Constructions for ‘Custom Built Home of the Year’, Yarrum Designer Homes for ‘Project Home of the Year’, Vogue Kitchens Australia for ‘Bathroom Project of the Year’ and Active Kitchens & Joinery for ‘Kitchen Project of the Year’.

Overall winners in major categories will now represent the HIA Hunter region at the HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards to compete for national titles against winners from other HIA Regions.
