Two local businesses are launching an expo to encourage business owners to embrace the future.
The Garis Group and BOQ Hamilton are joining forces to present Future Business Expo.
Keynote speaker, Ben Fewtrell from ActionCOACH, said that in a day and age where everything is automated and everything is online, the future of business is changing. Consumers won’t wait for you to catch up and the future of your business is entirely up to you.
“Business is changing so rapidly and without the right information businesses won’t be able to thrive in the future,” Ben said. “It’s fantastic to bring this to Newcastle, giving Hunter Valley businesses tools to move with the times and navigate this changing environment.”
The event will be hosted by well-known local speaker, corporate trainer and executive coach, Andrew Hughes, other guest speakers include Simone Macks from Xero, Trudy MacDonald from TalentCode HR, Adam Franklin from Bluewire Media and Ryan Macpherson from Futura Group.
Adam Franklin said that Hunter business owners are being urged to move with the times and ensure their business is prepared.
“Having digital strategies is the key to future proofing your business and will be the way of marketing in the future. I’m really excited to bring my online experience to the region,” Adam said. “Marketing techniques are changing every day and there’s a big opportunity for business owners. One way to get up to date is to grab an early bird ticket to the Future Business Expo 2017.”
The Future Business Expo will be held at the Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre on Wednesday, 29 March 2017.
