House of Airlie appointed as PR agency for Polo in the Vines Hunter Valley

Newcastle-based PR agency House of Airlie has been appointed to work collaboratively with the Urban Polo Association and Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association to manage the public relations for the inaugural Polo in the Vines Hunter Valley.

House of Airlie has carved a niche for itself as a specialist PR agency serving the Hunter region’s food, wine and tourism industries.

With a client list including many of the region’s well-known wineries, restaurants and peak bodies, including Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association, Hunter Culinary Association, Margan Estate, Reserve and Pepper Tree Wines, this local agency is becoming renowned for its results driven approach nationally.

The Dark Horse Vineyard in the Hunter Valley will come alive in April

2018 with all the sights and sounds of the inaugural Polo in the Vines event, which is the newest addition to the hugely popular Urban Polo series.

The primary focus of Polo in the Vines is the VIP dining experience, which will be held inside the Dark Horse barn. Guests will be treated to a six-course meal prepared by celebrity chef Guillaume Brahimi and his team, matched with the very best Hunter Valley wines presented by Sommeliers throughout the meal.

Urban Polo Association Founder, Janek Gazecki said he was impressed with House of Airlie’s track record of producing exceptional media results as well as the team’s commitment to creating cutting edge PR campaigns.

“We’re thrilled to have House of Airlie as our PR partner for this event as they have extensive knowledge of the region and go above and beyond to deliver successful campaigns time and time again,” Janek said.

Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association (HVWTA) General Manager, Jo Thomas said Polo in the Vines would add another string to the bow of the region’s popular events calendar.

‘The event will not only introduce the delights of our beautiful region to the polo set,” Jo said.

“But will also showcase the Hunter’s well-deserved reputation as a world-class wine-producing region and epicurean landmark.

“Urban Polo has come to the attention of international organisers of events like Polo in the park in London and the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in New York and Los Angeles, so we anticipate our gorgeous little corner of the world will have some time in the spotlight during the event.”

House of Airlie agency Director, Stephanie Airlie-Noé said managing the public relations for a premium event such as Polo in the Vines is a natural fit for the agency.

“We have a number of existing clients in the Hunter Valley, so this is an incredible opportunity for us to work alongside world-renowned event organisers such as Urban Polo Association and to continue promoting the region as a premium tourism destination nationally and internationally,” Stephanie said.

In addition to the VIP Experience, guests can also enjoy a more casual day with friends and family from the comfort of the Vineyard Polo Lounge. Corporate marquees are also available to purchase.

There will be tunes from the resident band and DJ throughout the day, Fashion on the Field, stomping of the divots and plenty of delicious food and local beverages for sale at the bar.
