Co-owner and director of Hunter-based Forsythes Recruitment, Geoff Crews, has been re-elected to the Board of the US headquartered NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network for a second, two-year term.

Geoff is one of only two Australian directors. NPA is a member-owned, global recruiting network that brings independent recruiting firms together to facilitate cooperative placements.

Each NPA director is a member of the network, and owns a recruitment firm. NPA board members direct the development of NPA’s business plan, establish administrative policy, develop an annual budget, and oversee NPA’s executive staff.

US-based NPA president Dave Nerz said NPA is a member-owned network and board leadership is a key part of the success of the organisation.

“Geoff has provided us with outstanding direction and support with great insight, industry knowledge and business expertise Dave said.

“We are extremely pleased to have Geoff Crews serving on our board of directors.”

Geoff is an honours graduate (psychology) of the University of Newcastle with postgraduate qualifications in business and technology. He is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia. He has also served on the Hunter Medical Research Institute Foundation Board.

Forsythes Recruitment is the largest locally owned and managed recruitment and organisational development firm in the Hunter and Central Coast region. The firm opened an office in Sydney in December. Its 35 staff specialise in the areas of manufacturing, mining, engineering, information technology, government, transport/logistics and professional services.
