With their increasing expansion in the Hunter Valley, Yarrum Designer Homes has appointed Julie Wicks to the role of Business Development Manager.
Previously in the role of Member Liaison Officer with the Hunter Business Chamber, Julie has a broad range of experience working within the Hunter Valley.
Managing Director Stephen Murray said that Julie's appointment is the result of continued growth within the Hunter Valley.
“Our reputation for quality workmanship and the subsequent increase in business has resulted in the need for this new role,” Stephen said.
“Julie is a great fit for the company, with her combination of building knowledge and a passion for client liaison we are confident she can assist our team in raising brand awareness of Yarrum and working with our existing and future clients.”
Yarrum Designer Homes specialises in the construction of architecturally designed homes as well as custom homes for clients within the region.
Partner organisation Yarrum House and Land develops land subdivisions in the Hunter Valley and constructs homes on the developed lots.
Yarrum House & Land Pty Ltd are about to embark on the HIA Hunter Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards 2013.
Last year Yarrum received four awards at the HIA ceremony:
- Best Project Home under 300k
- Best Custom Built Home over $1million
- Best Overall Custom Built Home, and best of all,
- Hunter Home of the Year.
The Hunter Home of the Year submission was also a finalist in the category of best Australian Home at the HIA National awards held in Brisbane with top marks given for the finishes and quality of workmanship, as well as the energy efficiency of the home.
The HIA Hunter Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards showcase the region's best builders and designers from upper Hunter, Newcastle and Forster.
