Coastal Advice Group (CAG) has welcomed seasoned Financial Adviser Jacob LoCascio to their Newcastle-based Financial Planning team as of May this year.

Jacob, a Certified Financial Planner and member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia, builds on the shared CAG team passion, which is to help as many everyday Australians as possible with advice tailored to achieving their financial goals.

Jacob said that for him, financial advice is more than just numbers.

“It’s the relationship I get to build with my clients. I feel truly privileged to be trusted with their finances and to become a part of the fabric of their life. It’s not a responsibility I take lightly,” Jacob said.

“My favourite part of the job is meeting new people and spending time with my existing clients, celebrating their wins.”

As the business continues to expand, Jacob has become an integral asset to the team. He not only fulfils his duty as a Financial Adviser but also as a mentor to CAG’s client support team and emerging Junior Financial Advisers.

CAG CEO, Daniel Brown said the entire team has warmly welcomed Jacob on board.

“Jacob is a great addition to our team. Having his knowledge and experience added to Coastal Advice Group has been valuable, but what has stood out for me is his personable approach and the genuine care he shows for each of his clients,” Daniel said.

Jacob acquired a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance in 2012 from the University of Newcastle. He is also recognised as a Justice of the Peace.

He has an expansive role within the CAG team, specialising in Superannuation, Self-Managed Super Funds, Retirement Planning (including Centrelink), Wealth Creation/Investment Advice, Insurance and Estate Planning.

As a fellow Novocastrian, Jacob enjoys spending time with his fiancée and three young boys around Newcastle’s many beaches, parks, and playgrounds, while being partial to cheering on the Newcastle Knights over a beer on the weekend.
