Beam Bookkeeping have been named finalists in two categories for the Australian Accounting Awards 2022, Bookkeeping Firm of the Year and Fastest Growing Firm of the Year. They are the only Newcastle and Hunter Valley based finalists in these two categories.

Beam recognised that building a team of the right people, not just the right skills, contributed to the organisation’s swift growth in the last 12 months and being named a finalist for these awards.

When learning that Beam was nominated, Director Deb Mirisch’s first thought was her team.

“We couldn’t do what we do without our team and our clients,” Deb said.

“I’m so grateful the team is being appreciated for their values and approach to client service. The support from our clients, keeps us busy and flourishing. We are proud to stand beside our peers in the industry as a finalist.

Beam’s Managing Director, Katie McCool said the spirit of the team is a contributing factor to this recognition.

“We are incredibly proud of the care and energy every team member puts into their roles and our clients,” Katie said.

“Being a finalist in these awards is great recognition for all their hard work.”

Beam Bookkeeping is proud to be considered a finalist amongst so many other professionals and firms.

“2021 has been a year that our team won’t forget and not because of the unprecedented times. The awards hosted by Accountants Daily is a yearly event to celebrate professionals and firms in accounting, with winners announced on the awards night in June.
