Financial advice practice, Coastal Advice Group (CAG) has welcomed award-winning Business Development Manager (BDM), Mitchell Ramsbotham to their team.

Mitchell joined the expanding NSW practice on 10 May in the role of Group General Manager. He will continue to work across the three different business locations in Newcastle, Central Coast, and Sydney.

Coastal Advice Group CEO, Daniel Brown said the entire team is excited to have Mitchell on board.

“Mitchell’s experience and skillset, having worked across financial adviser roles as well as Business Development Management positions, will be such a valuable contribution to our team and ultimately, our business mission.”

Mitchell has worked across several successful national practices and closely observed the innerworkings of the financial advice world as well as developed a strong understanding of successful business operations.

Through Mitchell’s previous roles, he has been recognised as TAL’s 2017 National BDM of the Year as well as Money Management’s NSW/ACT BDM of the Year in 2018.

Mitchell has worked alongside CAG in several different partnerships over the previous 12 years and has established strong relationships with key personnel as well as developed a strong understanding of CAG’s business goals.

“I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with Daniel and Coastal Advice Group for over 12 years now in some of my previous positions,” Mitchell said.

“It’s been inspiring to watch the business and the talented team within the business grow.”

Mitchell’s role as General Group Manager at CAG will be to contribute to the business vision which is to help more Australians enjoy the range of benefits that comes with quality financial advice.

“I truly believe in the vision of Coastal Advice Group; they are in the industry for all the right reasons,” Mitchell said.

“The future looks bright for Coastal Advice Group and the opportunities that are coming in the financial advice world are huge. I’m honoured and eager to be a part of the industry transformation that is already well under way in the advice world.”

Mitch will also play a key role in CAG’s NSW expansion plan for 2021. CAG is currently in the process of opening a practice in Port Macquarie to ensure more regional NSW residents can access quality financial advice.
