The ATUNE Health Centres team has expanded to provide clients with more choice in medical services.

Experienced Medical Practitioner, Dr Anthony Weller has returned to Newcastle after spending more than five years working as a GP in Victoria. Specialising in family general practice, Dr Weller is also experienced in preventative care and managing chronic disease.

ATUNE Health Centres CEO, Simon Ashley said that Anthony had joined a team of 30 health professionals.

“Having a team of GP’s within our centres means that people can access all of their health care needs in one place -where a team of professionals work together to provide the best outcomes for clients,” Simon said.

ATUNE Health is located in two locations at Warners Bay and Belmont and offers integrated services across 14 different health therapies.

Anthony said he was looking forward to helping families achieve good health outcomes.

“Working at ATUNE Health Centres allows me to focus on delivering the kind of holistic, integrated care that I think is so vital and beneficial to both patient and health professional alike,” Anthony said.

Anthony studied medicine at the University of Newcastle and welcomed the opportunity to return to the region to work and live with his family.

ATUNE Health Centres is a multi-award winning business created by Simon Ashley in 2006 from his home in Eleebana. ATUNE now includes two centres employing more than 45 people in Belmont and Warners Bay.

The centres provide more than 25,000 people with access to 14 different health services including general practice, physiotherapy, osteopathy, midwifery, massage therapy, psychology, psychiatry, counselling, functional breathing therapy, naturopathy, speech pathology, exercise physiology and dietetics from two Newcastle-based locations.
