Unlock your future through vocational education and training

School leavers should explore their vocational education options with TAFE NSW in coming weeks, with more than 1,700 information sessions scheduled across the state to help young people get skilled and kick-start their careers.

Minister for Skills and Training, Alister Henskens, said prospective students can explore post-school pathways in person or online, with information sessions to provide an insight into more than 1,000 courses on offer.

“There has never been a better time to study at TAFE. The NSW Government is funding a range of fee-free courses and training programs to help people get the skills they need for the jobs they want,” Mr Henskens said.

“Now is the time for young people to access training, get jobs and help drive our economic recovery from the pandemic, while industries like construction, nursing and hospitality are experiencing skills shortages.

“These information sessions will provide prospective students with an invaluable opportunity to explore the innovative range of course options, connect with industry-expert teachers, and explore the practical, hands-on facilities at TAFE NSW.”

“For real-world skills and a job that’s in demand, explore TAFE and learn more about how you can gain an edge over your job-seeking competitors.”

TAFE NSW offers recognised apprenticeship and traineeship programs, certificates, diplomas, and degrees that don’t require an ATAR.
