Monica Clare Recruitment has recently welcomed Krystle Parker to their team. Krystle joins the team as Business Manager, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge across a span of industries: blue collar government, not-for-profit, mining, energy and construction.
She joins Monica Clare with 12 years recruitment experience, spending the last three specialising in blue collar recruitment at tier-one companies.
Krystle says the culture and reputation of Monica Clare made it an easy decision to come onboard.
“For me, Monica Clare Recruitment has a very reputable brand and a very unique one; it’s been a company I have always followed,” she said.
“From the outside, it always seemed to have a very fun and vibrant culture, and that was something I really wanted to be a part of and something that was probably lacking in previous workplaces.”
While tier-one companies have access to most systems, numerous policies and procedures for most scenarios imagined, and an in-house custom-built database, she says it can lack human touch and true core values.
“For me I want to come into a business where you are truly valued and respected and you have a seat at the table to be creative; to drive the business to the next level.”
She thinks she has found her seat at the table at Monica Clare Recruitment.
Hunter Valley-born, Krystle thinks recruitment in Newcastle is in a league of its own. Particularly so for its focus on community and human connection.
“I do love that recruitment is very personalised in Newcastle; it’s a very community-based town, regardless of how big it grows.”
She looks forward to using her network to propel the agency’s growth and cement the team of Monica Clare Recruitment as leaders in the region. Krystle has big dreams for Monica Clare over the next 12 months.
“I want to continue to cultivate the amazing culture that I have known externally of Monica Clare Recruitment.”
“I want to support their business ventures as well as open their eyes to things they may not have ordinarily considered. My focus will be on the growth of each team member’s own individual business, in particular, helping them brand themselves in the market individually,” she concluded.
