Business support for community sport vital

Avid Project Management and the McCloy Group have signed up to support Adamstown Rosebud Football Club’s 2022 season.

AvidPM is the major sponsor, and the McCloy group has re-signed as a ‘Green Sponsor.’

Club President, Chris Dale, said without the tremendous support of local businesses, sporting clubs would struggle to be able to offer local people the opportunity to play the sport they love.

“We keep our player registration fees as low as possible to help make playing football accessible for as many people as possible,” Chris said.

“Having AvidPM, the McCloy Group and other sponsors on our team allows us to give local boys and men football skills but also to be great men on and off the field,” he said.

AvidPM Director David Read said, as a Newcastle based business, it aims to give back to the local community.

“We focus on the entire project lifecycle and Adamstown Rosebuds has a similar holistic approach in the way it develops its players,” David said.

“The Club’s partnership with youth mental health organisation, Headspace, is an example of innovative thinking to give players skills in resilience and wellbeing,” he said.

McCloy Group Managing Director, Brian Swaine, said he liked the culture and values of Adamstown Rosebuds and its focus on developing local youth and community.

Other sponsors joining the squad include KCE, Regent Street Physiotherapy, Help Yourself Nutrition and Dietetics, Cornerstone Strength and Conditioning, The Sign Shop, Ventsec, Cavalier Homes, and Jager Pest Control.

The Club still has signage, team and player sponsorships available for 2022 and beyond. Businesses large and small looking to promote their business to the large football community and give back to their community through sport can email or visit the Club’s website for a sponsorship prospectus.
