BeLLCORP Accountant’s Director, Jeff Bell, was recently recognised at the CPA Australia’s Annual President’s Awards. Jeff was named the Emerging Financial Manager of the Year for 2018, an accolade presented to a Certified Practicing Accountant under 35 years of age who displays “exemplary commitment to the future of the accounting profession”.
CPA Australia’s judging panel looked towards growth, customer service and community involvement as key judging criteria when assessing the nominations received for the accolade. The Emerging Financial Manager of the Year award was designed to recognise a leader who shows all-round skill in the finance profession, both technically and personally.
Jeff said it was an absolute honour to have received the award.
“I am extremely blessed to be supported by a dynamic team, who deserve this award as much as I. We are all very passionate about the work we do, but equally the community we support here in Newcastle,” Jeff said.
BeLLCORP have recently undergone significant expansion under the guidance of Jeff, both growing their team locally and announcing a second location on the Central Coast. Their success has been largely due to the team’s passion for clients and a commitment to excellence.
Local CPA Newcastle Branch Chair, Bernadette Smyth said the award was well-deserved.
“The award could not have gone to a more dedicated local leader,” Bernadette said.
Bernadette also attended the awards night held in December, which saw a number of CPA’s recognised for their contribution to the profession.
The award will set the tone for BeLLCORP’s year ahead – the business has plans to take their self-managed super fund administration service nationally in 2019 and expand their service offering into business valuations and unique start-up services.
