Applications are now open for the Bean Counters 2014 Young Achiever Awards, which acknowledges the outstanding contribution of young accountants in the Hunter region.
The Award recognises active leadership and a desire for self-improvement, rewarding young accountants who show great initiative, contribute to the accounting and wider community and make their own opportunities for success.
The Bean Counters Charity Ball is inviting businesses, organisations, managers, colleagues and supervisors to submit an application and celebrate their young achievers.
The Young Achievers Award was presented for the first time in 2012 and has become a key feature of the annual ball.
The winner of the 2014 Bean Counters Young Achiever Award will be presented with $300 in prize money as well as two nights’ accommodation at the luxurious Pacific Blue Apartments in Salamander bay and a ticket to the next annual Bean Counters Ball.
Nominees must be from the Hunter or Central Coast region and be 35 years or younger.
The 2014 Bean Counters Ball will be held on Friday, 7 November 2014 and will feature well known scientist and media personality Dr Karl Kruszelnicki by arrangement with Claxton Speakers International.
Money raised at The Bean Counters Ball is used to provide educational pathways and support services through Samaritans and the Hunter TAFE Foundation.
