Leading recruitment agency, GWG Partners, is continuing its growth with an international expansion to open a UK office.

GWG Director Chris Wallis will relocate from the Hunter with his family to open the new office, servicing Scotland and northern UK in July.

GWG Managing Director, James Grierson, said the agency had been looking for the right time to expand into the global market, and plans to replicate the success achieved locally in the UK.

“Since launching in 2011 GWG has gone from strength to strength here in the Newcastle and Hunter, successfully challenging traditional multi-nationals and achieving over 50 per cent growth in the last year,” James said.

“The Hunter region will always remain our headquarters and the expanding local team, led by Julie Gearie, will continue to grow. The new office will allow us to enter the UK market, whilst also strengthening our existing operations by extending our reach and capacity for current clients.”

Moving back to the UK is an opportunity for Chris, a native Scotsman, to reacquaint himself with the market and to lead the charge on building the GWG brand internationally.
